We start our trip off with a visit to the Colorado Railroad Museum next we will enjoy Pike’s Peak Cog Railway, the world’s highest cog railroad. Then “All Aboard” the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, we will travel on a diesel locomotive for 12 miles following the most spectacular scenery through the gorge on tracks laid more than 120 years ago. Next we travel the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, America’s most authentic steam railroad. Next we board the famous Gauge Durango-Silverton Train for a scenic ride through San Juan National Forest. Experience the adventure of traveling by a coal-fired, steam-powered locomotive on the same tracks that miners, cowboys, and settlers of the Old West took more than a century ago. We continue north into the heart of the Rocky Mountains into the Vail Valley Area, one of America’s most popular mountain resorts. We will enjoy shopping and this amazing picturesque area. We will also enjoy a visit to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Don’t miss out on this Ultimate Train Trip! This trip also includes a photo album highlights of our trip.
