Join Trips R Us as we spend the week exploring this great city enjoying some of the world’s best-known buildings, museums, attractions, and so much more! We will enjoy Top of the Rock, which offers breathtaking 360 degree panoramic views of NYC atop the world-famous Rockefeller Center. We will enjoy the Metropolitan Museum…NYC’s mini Louvre! We will enjoy great views of the city aboard the Staten Island Ferry over to explore Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We will visit and enjoy the beautiful landscape and fall foliage of Central Park, a national historic landmark. In remembrance of 9/11, we will tour the National 9/11 Memorial to see the two reflecting pools and the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. We will visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which is a national landmark and has graced the City of New York for more than 130 years. We will explore the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum examining original artifacts, historic footage, and interactive exhibits. We will enjoy the Space Shuttle Pavilion showcasing the space shuttle, Enterprise, British Airways Concorde, fastest Atlantic crossing by any Concorde, the Submarine Growler, the only American strategic missile submarine open to the public and so much more! Of course you can’t come to New York City without a tour of Yankee Stadium. We will be staying outside of midtown and of course will enjoy swimming at our hotel pool as well as dinner at the Tick Tock Diner…a New Jersey Staple.
